Though the fig tree does not bud

I am as ever, an avid listener or Ravi Zachariah. I think he is one of the greatest Bible teachers ever... listening now to one of his sermons :

WHY ? WHY IS THIS HAPPENING ?
we assume 2 things when we ask this question :
1- that someone can give me an answer
2- that there must be an answer to this question
we have a lot of questions and very few answers :(

habaq : how long o Lord must I call for help but u do not listen .............. ( check Bible)
God;s initial response : I am going to do something in ur days that u would not believe ....

The 3 queries in Habaqok's mind :
( these questions only make sense when they r put in context & linked to each other)
1-Lord , how long must I cry for help and u do not listen, and cry to you violence.
Violence means to take something away from its intended use , to violate it.
Violence, Lord, can u help us understand this ?
2- Why do u not speak out when there is so much injustice ?
He puts violence hand in hand with injustice.
3- How can u tolerate so much evil ?
There is no moral point of defining evil left.
God will u not speak to me ??

and God started to answer :

1- I AM. The existance of God. U have to understand: God is in the equation. there is no essence in the questions if there is no God. The existance of God in response to atheism. What do u violate if there is no purpose and no essence?
God is like the sun, u can not look at it, but without it u can not look at anything
God said to Cain- before the 1st crime was commited-:why r u angry ? if u do not do what is right.................. u must master it ( 3end al bab 7'ateyya rabeda , elaika eshtyaqha wa anta tasood 3alaiha)
Right and wrong find their defintion from the reality of God.
2- Time is the brush of God as he paints His master peiece in the canvas of human heart. God works in time, through time, He does not work like a slot machine but like a master.
GOD ORDERS UR STEPS AND STOPS UR STEPS UNTIL UR WORK IS FINISHED FOR HIM.
The one who brought us into this world is the same one who is going to drive us to our destination. We are in good hands.
3- I will wait patiently... though the fig tree......
if time is the brush with which God paints on the human heart , then eternity is the prespective with which we get a look at the full picture.
The sovreign Lord is in control, he makes my feet like the feet of the deer! halleleujah !

Remember Jacob runing and runing , God helped him only after he asked him : what is ur name ? do u think God did not know his name ? He did , but God wanted to remind him about his lies , his deciet ...... Only then did God bless him
